1. Initial purchase refund window
The first subscription purchase for DigitalFieldGuide.app may be eligible for a refund if requested within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase date. This refund window applies only to the first subscription purchase by the customer organisation and is intended to allow reasonable evaluation of the service.
2. How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted by email to team@digitalfieldguide.app. The request should identify the customer organisation, the billing email, and the date of purchase so the request can be reviewed.
3. Renewals and later charges
After the initial 7-day refund window, fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Monthly renewal charges are generally non-refundable once billed. This policy does not create a recurring monthly right to request refunds after each renewal.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated in writing. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund, credit, or partial reimbursement for amounts already billed.
5. Limits and exclusions
Refunds may be denied in cases of abuse, repeated refund requests, suspected fraud, chargeback misuse, or clear use of the service during the refund window beyond reasonable evaluation. Partial refunds are not offered unless required by law.
6. Payment processor considerations
Where payments are processed through Paddle, refund processing timing and mechanics may also depend on Paddle’s systems and policies. Customers should allow reasonable processing time after approval.
